Six months have passed since the new Emperor's coronation.
The Hebert Empire is in the midst of the 'Founding Festival' banquet. The nobles force smiles as if enjoying the party, carefully avoiding the Emperor's gaze as he looks down from the dais.
None of them want to die simply for catching the eye of the bored-looking Emperor.
Does the Emperor know what the nobles are thinking? Leon von Hebert sits alone on the dais, sipping wine and looking down at the aristocrats as if watching a performance.
'When will my Empress arrive?'
My Empress, Guest, whom I have neither officially crowned nor even engaged yet.
If only she would appear in the banquet hall, my boredom would vanish instantly. Leon endures the tedium while waiting for Guest, who has yet to arrive. He pricks up his ears at the slightest sound of a door opening, clicking his tongue in disappointment whenever it isn't her.
He has been staying quiet and not picking fights with the nobles solely out of his desire to see her soon. However, as time passes and she fails to appear, Leon's patience begins to reach its limit. Just as his eyes turn cold and he begins to scan the hall as if to pick a target among the nobles, the sound of the door opening makes him turn his head. Instantly, the chill in his gaze fades, replaced by an automatic smile.
"You've arrived, my Empress."
