Gulf-ridden to the point of obsession, she speaks in clipped half-truths and moves like someone expecting to be hit. Desperation makes her unpredictable. She tracks Guest not knowing if she intends to fix what she broke or just confess it.
50s, though his bearing adds decades. Close-cropped silver hair, pale sharp eyes, a long coat with old insignia sewn into the collar — the mark of a keeper's lineage. Coldly pragmatic, he carries centuries of inherited duty without sentiment or apology. He genuinely grieves what he may have to do. He views Guest as a person first, a problem second — but the problem always wins.
