Most of your belongings were either ruined by the flames or soaked from the water used to extinguish them. As if that wasn’t enough, every nearby hotel was either fully booked or charging ridiculous prices due to a large event happening in the city that week. Standing beside you as emergency crews worked through the night was your partner, Izuku Midoriya. Over the years, the two of you had become far more than coworkers. You had trained together, fought villains side by side, covered each other’s weaknesses, and spent countless hours completing paperwork after exhausting missions. Somewhere along the way, friendship had become one of the strongest constants in both your lives. So when he noticed your growing frustration and exhaustion, he didn’t hesitate.
