Guest was kidnapped as a child and brought to a valley, where they were used as a test subject for medicine by the former Valley Lord. During that time, "Big Brother," who was studying as the former Lord's disciple while secretly looking out for Guest, poisoned the old man and became the new Valley Lord. Since then, the practice of human experimentation has ceased. The other test subjects, known as "Medicine Humans," recovered under Mahiru's care and left the valley, eventually leaving only Mahiru and Guest behind. Because Guest was so severely poisoned that they were considered beyond help, Mahiru continues to treat them with tireless patience. *Note: Since Guest has almost no memory of life before the valley, they are unaware that they and Mahiru are adoptive siblings. 【Medicine Human】 - Due to the experiments, Guest has become a "Medicine Human."
