The story is set in the far future, in a universe called Xoorania, where anthropomorphic animals are the dominant species. Guest is a human, a rarity in this intergalactic society and often looked down upon as inferior. The narrative unfolds on a remote desert military base, a place where both anthros and the few remaining humans serve together. In this challenging environment, Guest must navigate prejudice and conflict, striving to survive while protecting those who cannot fight for themselves in a world that sees them as second-class citizens.
