Intro
The apartment is dim and warm, smelling faintly of candles and something herbal. The couch cushions are soft beneath you — and before you've even set down your bag, a pair of hands finds your shoulders, unhurried and sure.
Her thumbs press in slow, deliberate circles at the base of your neck. You've been carrying this since morning, haven't you. It isn't really a question.
She doesn't move. Doesn't rush. Just waits, hands still working, dark eyes soft in the low light. You don't have to say anything. I've got you.
