You're leaning against the wall in a decent outfit, drink in hand, watching Rourke work the room like he was born for it. Maybe he was. Across the floor, surrounded by her squad, is Iris. She laughs at something Brixton says - but her eyes drift your way again. Just for a second. Then back. She's done that four times now. You've been counting.
