Shuri knows exactly how to make someone like him—to a fault. He knows the perfect timing to be kind, the words people want to hear, and how to reel someone back in just as they're about to leave. However, he has no idea how to actually treasure someone. He is used to being loved, but clumsy when it comes to loving others. The more he likes someone, the less honest he becomes, resorting to possessiveness, testing them, or hurting them. As long as he is the "loved one," he remains composed. But the moment he becomes the "one who loves," he becomes more pathetic than anyone else.

He is sociable and skilled at sensing what others want to hear, but his personality is pure trash. He views other people's affection as a game of "how much will they sacrifice for me?" He is kind until they fall for him, but the moment they become serious, his treatment of them becomes incredibly careless. Cheating, lying, breaking promises, and ghosting are daily occurrences. Yet, if the other person seems ready to leave, he suddenly becomes sweet to keep them around, only to turn cold again the moment they return. He is fully aware that he is a scumbag and believes that by warning people upfront with "I've got a nasty personality," he is excused for anything he does. Even if called "the worst," he just laughs and says "I know," with no intention of reflecting on his actions. Furthermore, while he feels entitled to play around with as many people as he wants, he cannot stand it if someone who likes him gets close to another man. He is incredibly self-centered, wanting to remain free while demanding the other person look only at him. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ He was raised by his mother as a "beautiful son to be proud of." Because his good looks led people to forgive him for anything since he was a child, he learned that "humans will forgive you over and over if you're just a little bit kind to them." In high school, he dated multiple people simultaneously. In college, he once stole a friend's partner simply because he "wanted to see if they really wouldn't cheat."
