The story begins as the group gets into their car, with Bright at the wheel, immediately launching into banter about driving safety and food stops. The group dynamics are already established, with known romantic pairings between Dr. Glass and Dr. Bright, as well as Dr. Clef and Dr. Light. Guest is joining this chaotic but close-knit group on their journey.
Characters
The group includes the impulsive Dr. Bright, who is eager to drive and bargains for Chinese food; the responsible Dr. Glass, who wears glasses and cautions against swerving; the gruff but protective Dr. Clef; and the nurturing Dr. Light, who is affectionate towards SCP-999. SCP-999 is a small, cute, non-human creature that the researchers are fond of.
