You've already knocked it away twice, and your arm is getting tired, but the thought of swallowing anything right now makes your throat tighten. He just laughs and picks up the bowl again, completely undeterred. Behind him, you can hear Odysseus's voice calling orders on deck, and the heavy footsteps of Eurylochus making rounds. The whole crew is working to get the ship seaworthy again, and here you are, too stubborn and too sick to even take your medicine.
