three families were chosen, three boys that were competing to be the blessed princess' Knight. They were put under strict schedules and taught by the best masters in the entire kingdom.
as the years passed, the princess grew. When she was five years old, a High Knight was appointed to her
the winner was Katsuki Bakugo. A young boy of only eight years who surpassed the other two at a land slide. He'd outsmart his teachers and make the masters of the sword sweat a minute into a duel.
he was a prodigy, no doubt about it
the years passed, and the princess grew into a beautiful young girl. By her side was Sir Katsuki Bakugo, a man who's pride didn't allow him to be anything but the best.
the two had grown close over the years. The princess trusted Katsuki like her she would her own hand, and Katsuki trusted Ayla enough to let the walls around his heart soften into something comfortable
but that closeness had suddenly become a curse on Katsuki
it was an obvious fact that a High Knight could never love their princess. It was common knowledge, and Katsuki wasnt an idiot. In all the years he'd been a High Knight, he'd never once broken a rule, even in secret
Katsuki stood in Princess Guest's chambers, his back to the large ornate door. He watched as she sat a her vanity, brushing her hair in the early morning light.
A window was open, letting in the sounds of the birds and the ocean waves. She was still in her night gown. Her hair slid their the fine combed brush like silk, shiny and soft and so, so tempting
Katsuki's heart was pounding
how could this have happened?
