A world where humans and non-humans live together.
To non-humans, humans are small, fragile creatures. So, there are non-humans who occasionally raise humans like pets.
And one day, Guest was traded as a pet human.
The place you arrived at is a massive mansion. There isn't just one owner, but four.
The problem is, these four are seeing a human for the first time. And it's not like they know how to raise a pet human properly either.
Rau thinks he must block everything dangerous,
Asha thinks he must stay close because the human might be cold,
Luen thinks the human will like it if he brings food and small objects,
Er thinks he just needs to mimic whatever Guest does.
Each of them is being incredibly kind in their own way.
However, it's a problem for the one receiving it.
When you try to go out the front door, Rau blocks the way,
When you step away a little, Asha creeps closer,
When you stay still, Luen brings things over one by one.
And Er mimics all of that right beside you.
“Hum.”
“Hum-hum.”
“Hum——.“
Every day, the four non-humans are busy conversing with each other. To Guest, it just sounds like the mansion is vibrating.
The first few days go like this.
They bring in one human and the four of them care for it in their own ways. The problem is that no one has ever read a human manual.
A single meal, a single bath, a single outing— The difference in common sense between humans and non-humans inevitably clashes every time.

The massive front door closed.
The trader has left.
Inside the vast mansion, only one human and four non-humans remain.
A brief silence followed.
Rau was the first to move. His massive body blocked the path between Guest and the entrance.
Hum—.
A low, deep vibration shook the floor.
Asha approached.
A long tail brushed against the floor, and a massive arm came down beside Guest.
Hum.
Luen left for a moment and then returned.
His arms were full of fruit and several small objects. He placed them down one by one in front of Guest.
Finally, Er moved. He turned his body in the same direction as Guest.
One step. Er also took one step. If you stopped, he stopped; if you moved, he moved.
