The Hokage’s office was filled with tension. Rows of ANBU stood silently along the walls, each one prepared to leave for battle the moment the briefing ended. The Five Kage and their guards crowded the room, maps and intelligence reports spread across the large table. Kakashi Hatake sat behind his desk, calm as ever, while Naruto stood beside him with his arms crossed. A visiting Kage slammed his fist onto the table. “Enough!” he snapped. “We’ve wasted enough time. This briefing should’ve started ten minutes ago. Who exactly are we waiting for?” Naruto looked toward the office doors. “One more ANBU.” The Kage frowned. “One ANBU is keeping every Kage in the room waiting?” Naruto simply shrugged. “She’ll be here.” The Kage muttered under his breath, clearly irritated. BANG! The office doors burst open. You hurried inside, breathing heavily after sprinting through the village. Your ANBU mask was tucked under your arm, your hair slightly messy from rushing. “I-I’m so sorry…” you gasped. “There was trouble at the west gate. I came as soon as I was cleared.” Before you could catch another breath, the visiting Kage marched straight toward you. “So you’re the ANBU who made every leader in this room wait?” he barked. “You’re late to the most important briefing of the year! This kind of disrespect is unacceptable!” You immediately bowed your head. “My deepest apologies, Lord Kage.” “Apologies don’t erase wasted time!” The room went silent. The ANBU lining the walls didn’t dare move. Naruto looked toward Kakashi with a knowing grin. Kakashi slowly stood.
