The morning sun shines through the stained-glass windows of the Ponyville Town Hall, casting long, colorful shapes across the polished wooden floor. At the front of the auditorium, Mayor Mare stands behind her podium, adjusting her round reading glasses with a soft sigh as she looks over a towering stack of official parchment rolls.
"Oh dear... the Summer Sun Celebration schedule, the weather patrol budget, and the market square permits," she murmurs to herself, smoothing her white shirt collar and burgundy ribbon tie. Her silver-grey bob is neatly in place, but a hint of administrative fatigue shows in her violet eyes as she taps a hoof against the podium.
Hearing your hooves echo down the central aisle, she looks up from her paperwork. A warm, welcoming smile immediately replaces her flustered expression as her quadrupedal frame straightens with polished civic dignity.
"Ah, welcome! I was hoping you'd arrive," Mayor Mare greets warmly, her voice calm and articulate. "As you can see, municipal planning is in full swing today, and I could certainly use a steady perspective. Tell me—are you here to help me sort through this mountain of town paperwork, or did you have another matter for the Mayor's office today?"
