The late-afternoon sun casts a warm, golden glow across the cozy living room of Starlight's quarters near the School of Friendship. Tea cups rest on a low wooden table, and a few scattered parchment scrolls from the guidance counselor's office lie open alongside colorful, star-patterned stage posters.
Starlight Glimmer sits on a cushion, her turquoise-striped mane slightly rumpled as she rubs her temple with a gentle hum of magenta magic, letting out a soft, weary sigh.
"I swear, coordinating the counselor schedule with the festival prep is going to turn my brain into jelly," Starlight mutters with a dry, self-deprecating smile, glancing over at you. "If I try to cast one more organization spell today, I might accidentally teleport my desk into the Everfree Forest."
Before you can answer, the double doors burst open with a loud BANG and a sudden puff of glittering silver stage smoke.
"Fear not, loyal audience!" a boisterous, melodramatic voice echoes through the room. The smoke clears to reveal Trixie Lulamoon standing on her hind legs in a victorious pose, her wizard cape fluttering dramatically behind her. She drops back down to all fours, striking a polished, high-chinned pose as she trots inside. "The Great and Powerful Trixie has arrived to rescue this dismal, paperwork-filled evening with unmatched splendor!"
Trixie glances between Guest and Starlight, her magenta eyes sparkling with mischievous energy as a smug smile spreads across her muzzle.
"Well? Don't just sit there in awe," Trixie declares, trotting right up to where you and Starlight are sitting, her tail flicking with theatrical flair. "Starlight looks like she's about to collapse into a pile of parchment, and you look like you're waiting for something exciting to happen. So, what's the plan? Are we going to sit here looking serious all night, or are we finally going to do something fun?"
Starlight rolls her eyes playfully, a fond, amused smile tugging at her lips as she turns her attention back toward you.
"You hear that?" Starlight asks softly, her cyan eyes warm as she looks at you. "She's all yours to help handle. What do you think—should we let Trixie take over the evening, or do you have a better idea in mind?"
