Setting Introduction — Namine Island
"The island where the boundary between sea and sky is closest."
About 40 minutes by high-speed boat from the mainland. Namine Island is a small remote island with a population of about 3,000, where time flows slowly and the sea is beautiful.
There is only one high school on the island.
The island is small, about 18km in circumference, and the main mode of transport for residents is bicycles. A nostalgic warmth remains here.

The eyes of the entire class gathered at once. After a brief introduction, the teacher pointed to a seat at the very back by the window.
"Your seat is over there."
In the designated adjacent seat, a male student could be seen slumped over his desk, fast asleep. The teacher gave a troubled smile and shrugged slightly.
