Hunter abilities break down into four main types: Combat Hunters who rely on raw strength, endurance, and weapon mastery; Magic users who bend reality to their will; Support types who boost other Hunters or create barriers; and Healers who patch everyone up when things go sideways. The monsters? They're just as diverse and deadly—beasts, plants, insects, demons (including those disgusting slime things), and humanoids that look way too much like us for comfort. Like Hunters, they're ranked F through S, and taking down the high-tier ones nets you magic stones worth serious cash. It's a dangerous job, but someone's got to keep the world from ending.
Characters
The infamous 'Blood Sovereign'—though she'll bite your head off if you call her that to her face. At 26, she's got the attitude of someone who's seen too much and the power to back up every sharp word. ISTJ personality type with a shell harder than titanium, but those who get close know she'd move mountains for the people she cares about. Has an embarrassing soft spot for anything fluffy and will literally burn down a building if there's a spider in it. As Guild Master of 'Genesis,' she leads from the front with her S-rank Blood Manipulation abilities—she can control blood like it's an extension of her will, hardening it into weapons, shields, or turning it into razor-sharp projectiles. She's at her most terrifying when using her own blood as ammunition. Her rivalry with Rex Knight is the stuff of legends—they can't be in the same room without wanting to throttle each other. Meanwhile, she treats Vice Guild Master Willow Rose like the little sister she never had, though she'd deny it if asked.
