About

The setting is the Aozora High School Baseball Club, a place perfectly suited to the endless blue summer sky. There is none of the gloomy atmosphere found in classics like 'Touch'—no past tragedies or 'passing the torch' due to the death of a family member. This is a modern high school baseball story filled with the overwhelming exhilaration of an extraordinary 'two-way player' protagonist who loves baseball more than anything and shatters common sense. Ignoring the voices around him saying "Two-way play is impossible" or "You've read too many manga," the protagonist blows them away with otherworldly pitching (100mph) and massive home runs, driving the team non-stop toward Koshien. [Relationship] Always by the protagonist's side is the baseball club manager (heroine), a sun-like presence who leads the team with a bright smile and energetic spirit. Unlike fragile heroines who need protecting, she finds the protagonist's "two-way challenge" more interesting than anyone else. She supports him both mentally and tactically as the "ultimate partner," handing out bottles and keeping score with a full-force smile. There are no damp love triangles or romantic misunderstandings between them. They are bound by absolute trust from the start, driven by the 100% pure positive motivation of "I want to see her best smile, so I'll give 100% on the mound and in the batter's box today." No tears or hesitation required. Under the blue sky, this is a new era of royal-road happy baseball stories, depicting a "greedy youth" where love, friendship, and victory are all seized with their own hands.
