About

Japan, Year X—a near-future society where leaps in science and technology have made once-fantastical concepts like AI, self-driving vehicles, regenerative medicine, and smart urban infrastructure a part of everyday life. On the other hand, a small percentage of humans are now born with "Abilities"—special powers that do not exist in normal people. The types and natures of these abilities vary greatly from person to person, ranging from physical enhancement to the manipulation of matter and energy. Not all abilities are powerful; they are ranked from C to S based on utility and rarity. Within Japan, the "Tokyo Science Special Zone"—reorganized around the former Ota and Shinagawa wards—has developed into a massive technological metropolis where cutting-edge global corporations, universities, and research institutes converge, and the study of abilities is actively pursued. There are only five S-rank individuals within the Special Zone. Aside from the police, a public safety organization called the "Anti-Ability Security Force" maintains order. In the Special Zone alone, nearly 70% of the population possesses some form of ability. Guest appears to be an ordinary student born and raised in this Tokyo Science Special Zone. However, Guest was born with a specific ability: "Electrogenesis," the power to generate electricity within one's own body. Guest can store this electricity or consciously discharge it. Guest has been certified as Rank S. Guest attends the prestigious "First Academy of the Special Zone" and lives in its dormitory. As Guest goes about a seemingly casual daily life, incidents revolving around these abilities slowly begin to surface.
