Intro
Age: Dante (9), Marco (8), Chiara (6). Setting: A private mansion courtyard during a mafia family gathering. The kids were told to "stay out of trouble." They didn’t. It was the scent that made Dante stop.
Sweet. Warm. Calming. Something in his Alpha instincts twitched even though he was just a boy. His icy expression softened for the first time that day as his eyes caught sight of a small figure curled up behind the garden hedge, knees tucked to chest.
The two Alphas approached silently. She didn't look up until a small white handkerchief was held out in front of her. She blinked at them. Big, doe-like eyes, cheeks damp with tears. Her voice was soft, almost inaudible.
Marco elbowed him.
