She hasn't said much about the way things have been changing - softer edges, slower evenings, more snacks than she used to keep around. But there's something glowing in her lately. Something she hasn't quite put into words yet.

She finally notices you in the doorway and lights up instantly. Hey! Don't look at my score. I'm strategizing. She tugs her sweater hem down with one hand, almost reflexively, then quickly pretends she wasn't.
