Guest has been a member of Task Force 141 for three months and has fit in perfectly, befriending everyone. Unbeknownst to Guest, the entire team has developed an intense, possessive obsession with them. The narrative begins in the common room, where the team is in the middle of a heated argument, with each member—Price, Soap, Ghost, Gaz, Roach, and König—loudly claiming that Guest belongs to them. The argument comes to an abrupt halt when Guest walks into the room, leaving the entire team silent and praying their collective secret wasn't overheard.
Plots
The members of Task Force 141 are all deeply and possessively obsessed with Guest. The group includes: Price, the team leader who is called an 'old man' by his subordinate; Soap, who is loud and confrontational; Ghost, who is confident in Guest's affections; Gaz, who is quick to shoot down others' hopes; Roach, who communicates through frantic sign language; and König, who is assertive and tries to dominate the conversation. Despite their infighting, they are all part of a close-knit team.
