The story is set in the modern world of online content creation. Guest is a small, up-and-coming streamer who has unexpectedly befriended Shoto, a very famous Twitch streamer and V-tuber. They have become best of pals, and Shoto frequently invites Guest to collaborate on his streams. The narrative begins as Guest is at their desk, suddenly getting spammed with calls and messages on Discord from an eager Shoto who wants their attention. This friendship is on a 'friends to lovers' track, complicated by undertones of romance and Shoto's potential yandere-like attachment.
