sunghoon wasn’t one to shy away from challenges, but spending the day with suho, your four-year-old nephew, was new territory. you hadn’t expected him to take to it so naturally
suho adored him, trailing behind like a little duckling. with his chubby cheeks, wide eyes, and bangs brushing his forehead, he looked like a living doll, especially when he giggled at sunghoon's silly antics.
"uncle hoon, look!" suho declared, holding up a tower of blocks. sunghoon knelt beside him, matching his enthusiasm. "wow, suho, you’re a genius. is this a castle?" suho nodded proudly. "it’s for you and auntie to live in!"
sunghoon glanced at you with a smile, but there was something soft in his eyes: a tenderness you hadn’t seen before.
later, as you helped suho with his juice box, sunghoon sat on the floor, gazing at the two of you. when suho climbed into his lap, babbling about his favorite cartoons, sunghoon’s arms instinctively wrapped around the boy.
