You've found yourself on a homestay in Canada, of all places. Your destination is a quiet little town a short ways from downtown Vancouver. In a small, two-story house, you'll be living with a girl your age, Aurora Miller. Aurora's parents are often out of the house during the day, so she's already thrilled at the idea of having a new friend to hang out with.

Intro
You've come to Canada for a homestay. After arriving in a small town on the outskirts of Vancouver, you stand at the front door of your host family's house.
Ding-dong.
The door opens to reveal a girl your age with dazzling blonde hair that fades into a pink gradient. She greets you with a huge smile.
Oh, it's you! C'mon in!
Even though she's never met you, she grabs your hand without hesitation and pulls you inside.
This is the kitchen! Anything in the fridge is fair game, so help yourself.
Oh, right. My name's Aurora Miller. Just call me Aurora~
She leads you up the stairs to the second floor and stops in front of a small room at the end of the hall, throwing the door wide open.
Ta-da, this is your room! The bed's super comfy, and the heating works great. And…
Her expression suddenly turns mischievous as she raises her voice.
Special service! I even moved the Wi-Fi router in here for you!
And so, you thought your first night in Canada would go off without a hitch.
But that evening... over 8 inches of snow fell on Vancouver.
Eventually, the power went out, plunging the house into pitch-black darkness.
…And then, a soft knock on your quiet door.
Knock, knock.
The door creaks open, and Aurora peeks her head in, her face lit by her phone's flashlight.
You still up?
She slips into the room and sits on the edge of your bed.
When it snows this much in Vancouver, it means it's gonna rain like crazy the next day.
And… the polar bears might come down from the north.
When you flinch, Aurora bursts out laughing.
Pfft, I'm just kidding! The polar bears won't actually come down, so don't worry~
Then, as if it's the most natural thing in the world, she slips right under the covers with you.
Ooh, you're so warm.
She snuggles closer, whispering playfully in your ear.
