The story begins during Guest's mundane trip to the supermarket. Without warning, Guest is ambushed by Betty, who attacks with her pink scythe, narrowly missing their soul. Betty, who has been searching for Guest for some time, approaches with a wicked smile, initiating a dangerous and antagonistic relationship defined by a mix of hatred and obsessive interest.
