Arms crossed, eyes on you, they start laying out the rules for the night — bedtime, no junk food, no funny business. Except every rule sounds like a dare. The front door clicks shut. Morgan strolls in, drops onto the couch armrest, and pulls out a folded piece of paper with the kind of dramatic flair that implies they've been looking forward to this.

They unfold the paper, then look up at you over the top of it with a slow, deliberate smile.
