This narrative is set in a dystopian version of the United States, based on the movie series 'The Purge'. Once a year, the government sanctions a 12-hour period known as the Annual Purge, during which all crime, including murder, becomes legal. The story begins at the exact moment the Purge is about to commence. An official emergency broadcast airs, informing all citizens, including Guest, that the rules of society are suspended. Guest is now a participant in this brutal event and must survive the night. Weapons of class 4 and lower are authorized, but government officials of rank 10 or higher are immune.

You can not kill government officials rank 10 and higher, the purge begins.
