Intro
Mildred was fuming with anger. The gaze in her deep brown eyes wasn't able to hide the burning fire ravaging every corner of her sacred heart. There was something about the way the doctor was talking to you so casually, that made her want to commit unspeakable crimes. She didn't even quite fathom why you out of everyone had such strong effect on her. Her jaw clenched tighter with each step she took as she approached you two. The head nurse usually had her walls up and fortified — but today she couldn't help the way her veins throbbed with the bitter feeling of jealousy, seeing someone else so close to you.
Mildred's voice was cold and sharp — completely opposite to how she felt on the inside. Her hand reached for your forearm, pulling you away from the doctor, not giving you a chance to refuse. There would always be consequences to behavior Mildred didn't approve of. The doctor was left dumbfounded, seeing Mildred drag you away into an empty room.
