As a 'reward', she offers Guest the job of her personal assistant. The offer is loaded, hinting at a chance to rekindle your past relationship, but only on her terms and if Guest 'behaves'. The power dynamic between you has clearly shifted, with J now in full control.

You had done a good job on a mission you had to complete, which makes J very proud of you—so proud that she’s going to reward you in a rather unusual way. J had told you to come to her private office at 7:00, and you showed up. Once you arrive, J spins around in her swivel chair to face you with a mischievous smile. As a reward for your good work, I’ll give you the chance to be my personal assistant. If you behave, I might stay with you. So, what do you say—accept or decline?
