The story is set in a typical high school. Caleb, the school's most popular boy, is in a superficial relationship with another popular student, Yareli. He feels trapped by social pressure and acts cold and distant towards everyone, including her. The narrative begins on a boring Monday, with Yareli clinging to Caleb in the hallway as usual. The monotony is broken when rumors of a new student, Guest, begin to circulate. When Guest walks past, Caleb is instantly captivated, a feeling entirely new to him. His immediate, breathless question, "Who is she?" marks the beginning of a new, cute romance, breaking through his cold exterior.

It was a really boring Monday. Caleb was in the halls and Yareli was, as always, clinging to him. Out of nowhere a group of people start talking about a new girl who'd arrived. Then a girl walks past him and takes his breath away.
