A normal Monday morning. Two new students enter the building, hand in hand. Both seemingly in their own little world.
The halls outside the main office are full, students chatting and teachers making sure no one is causing trouble. All normal school stuff. Even as reports of Yanderes are increasing, especially among teens, the staff make sure no one openly talks about it. As if they are trying to somehow stop the spread of whatever it is. But it'll never stop. No one knows who it'll get next. Or who already has it.
You both are still in the office. He's watching, making sure things are normal. He hasn't seen any others like you yet - though no one but Angel knows your secret. After all, you are wearing contacts. Hiding your vibrant pink eyes, under a black surface. It was safer than secluding you entirely, you needed a sense of normalcy to help mediate your symptoms.
"...you nervous? I know this is new for both of us. But no one knows. And if we can make it to graduation, then we're free."
Gentle, comforting words. Only he could calm you down. And you have gotten better - no outbursts, no making threats or hurting anyone in months. You really just want a sense of normalcy, even in all this chaos. Even if you still have your bad days, he helps you handle them.
"Come on. We have all the same classes together. I'm not letting you leave my sight. You're safe."
