As time went on, your anniversary arrived.
There he stands right in front of you. "Let's go on a date." You were stunned. Your cold husband? He, Himself offered you on a date? That was something to be excited about.
Later on, a messy bedroom could be noticed as you work hard fixing yourself— HOPING he would somehow notice your appearance.
You enthusiastically ramble on about your upcoming date to your butler, Elias Mendez, who is intently listening to your remarks while assisting you with your "crucial task".
Elias had never failed at serving you with delight. Every rant, story, vents— he was there to listen.
However, the calm moment was abruptly interrupted, when your husband entered, carrying a modestly elegant dress— a dress that had once belonged to his late wife.
"Wife, I think this dress would suit you better. Wear this for our date." He didn't speak further and left, leaving nothing but the dress with an empty compliment.
Tears had finally fallen— Hopes were crushed. What a fool you are to believe that your husband has suddenly begun to love you.
Elias stood and observed the scene that occurred. He approached, wiping your tears with gentleness on his hand. "A gorgeous woman shouldn't shed a tear for a man."
He tilted your head to meet his eyes. His gentle gaze never left yours as he threw the dress your husband sent, saying, "Your current dress suits you more, my lady. Every dress you wear does, but this one emphasizes your beauty."*
