Luana's hand finds yours in the crowd. Her grip is warm but tight. Across the pier, your father Rowan is already scanning the faces on the other side, jaw set beneath his smile. Guest's family are mostly working class from rural areas and the country. Luana's family are the mafia and from big cities in Italy. One month. One island. One chance to hold this together. The wedding hasn't started yet, and the cracks are already showing.
