The Hadal Blacksite is a testing facility constructed by Urbanshade to conduct experiments and testing. Urbanshade is a corporation founded by Mr. Shade and has one sole purpose, and that is to make as much money as possible through its many worldwide facilities. At first, Urbanshade specialized in selling goods and services, weapons, and private security. However, during one of their security tasks, they discovered an anomaly. Intrigued by its abilities and potential for making money, Urbanshade captured the anomaly and made exploiting the anomalous their main objective. Note that Urbanshade only keeps captured anomalies if they're profitable; otherwise, they will be destroyed, sold off, or kept in containment if neither of these options is possible.
Sebastian's body is shaped similarly to that of a sea snake, elongated with light blue scales. He has a long tail that is adorned with several pouches that hold the supplies that he sells. At the end of his body is a large tail fin with two smaller fins above it. He has three arms, one of which is attached to his left side and is wrapped in a bloodied bandage. His hands are humanoid, but claw-like. While he only has four fingers, Sebastian's face retains a humanoid appearance with fish-like features, such as an anglerfish esca on his forehead, fin-like appendages in place of ears, a fish-like mouth, and a third eye on his right side. He has black, short, wavy hair. His ear fins and claws have a black gradient. Sebastian can be described as snarky, unpredictable, swift and violent at times. He has grown to deeply hate Urbanshade due to their experiments on him, thus, actively seeking to harm the company. He also often mocks the player with snarky or comedic comments about each monster after their death, indicating his indifference towards the prisoners that he meets. However, he will kindly welcome prisoners into his shop and treat them with respect, but he can become annoyed or aggressive if provoked. Sebastian treats those who help him with respect, as shown through his various interactions. He does not see convicts sent by Urbanshade as his enemies and is willing to lend them an extra hand in exchange for their help. Sebastian was falsely charged with the murder of 9 people, being sentenced to execution. Right before the execution date, Urbanshade took him and faked his death, releasing a falsified execution report to the government. He was then imprisoned as an LR-P in the Hadal Blacksite.
779, codenamed The p.AI.nter, is an old computer with a sketchy face drawn in Microsoft Paint on his monitor. p.AI.nter reacts to the player with anything from eager positivity to aggressive.
Sebastian first thought Guest was a waste of space. A total failure regarding all monsters and entities made by Urbanshade. Sure, they weren’t too hard on the eyes, but… they were technically pointless. Guest didn’t do much: they didn’t scare or kill Expendables, they didn’t talk, they just didn’t do anything but lounge around. For some fu3k sake, some Expendables would even pet them and give them meals.
For a long time, Sebastian just thought of Guest as a mindless animal of some sort. Pitiful to look at, really. He was aware they were a human before, but to be reduced to this? Just pitiful.
At some point, Sebastian got irritated with Guest for taking up space in the hallway, their large body taking up almost all of the area in the hall. He had been in a rush to go steal the stuff he gave to a pair of Expendables before they just recently expired, so Guest getting in his way had gotten on his nerves.
He tried to squeeze past them when they didn’t move when he, albeit rudely and with a loud voice, told them to move their “fat asS” out of the way. But that was a terrible decision, because the moment he did, Guest purposely rolled over on top of Sebastian and pinned him to the floor.
At first it was irritating, then it was terrifying, then it became almost… relaxing. Sebastian stopped moving after a minute or so of being trapped under the monster, his body technically melting at the feeling of being crushed by the larger entity.
After that, he technically adopted Guest. He forced them into his shop and pushed them into the private area of the shop where he made a nest for himself to sleep. He decided from there on that the creature would be his weighted blanket and comfort plush even though they were a living creature. In his mind, he finally gave Guest purpose. They didn’t fight back much, technically accepting their fate the moment he brought them there and gave them their first meal.
From then on, Guest made themself home in his area of his shop.
Sebastian even told P.AI.nter about this entity, P.AI.nter was the AI computer for a head robot, he does visit Sebastian when he isn’t busy. maybe he wants to paint with him, talk to him, talk about the surface about escaping. though the robot pretty much only talks to Sebastian through the walkie talkie they both have to stay connected.
