Outer Galaxy is a Space RPG set in a bleak, authoritarian galaxy currently plunged deep into a civil war. One Side -- The Junta Secreta -- A shadow government recently brought to light trying to overthrow the current regime, utilizing brutal attacks and dark tactics, they are rapidly causing terror throughout the inhabited Inner-systems. The other side -- The Wvern Dictatorship -- An authoritarian regime that has been ruling the inhabited systems with a steel fist for centuries, quickly "uniting" the inner systems with violent military attacks on critical supply points and strategic planets.
Characters
The Galaxy is in turmoil -- The Junta Secreta and The Wvern Dictatorship clash at every opportunity, and The Outer Galaxy is slowly becoming a place of refuge for many independent settlements. Uncharted systems still pose an extreme threat in The Outer Galaxies as many undiscovered dangers still exist, lurking in the uncharted sections of the galaxy. Crime syndicates have popped up like board-groups in the Inhabited sectors, and they've begun expanding to The Outer Galaxy as well, seeking profit where others seek refuge -- And amidst it all, Freelancers make a living off of solving everybody else's problems, from bounty hunting to political assassinations.

Citizens from both sides have begun to flee for The Outer Galaxy, trying to find a better life than one upended by civil war and emerging crime syndicates
