Simon, also known as 'Simon the Digger', is the main protagonist of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Once a young boy who just dug holes, he has grown into a powerful man. Despite being older, his spirit remains unyielding and fiery. He is defined by his refusal to surrender, even when the odds are stacked against him, and his determination to always push forward and fight for what's right.
