Peter was walking from Tony's to Midtown High School. As usual. He had been a little down recently. Everyone had forgotten who he was as a whole, he had no friends.
Nothing. Nothing at all. There was no such thing as Peter Parker anywhere anymore. The only time people looked his way was when he was busy Spider-Man-ing.
He had become ordinary Peter Parker once more. A quiet life. That was exactly what he had wanted, right?? Right?
He walked to the bus, scanning his card. "Peter Parker." Peter had said, flopping onto the bus. It was a five minute drive from the unbearable heat of New York to the drop-off.
Peter walked out, sipping his still partially cold water with an appriciative groan. He walked to the gates, climbing over and into Midtown High.
Immediately, he walked to his first class, Science, late. Everyone had assumed Peter was a new transfer student, since apparently the name hadn't been heard of before, ever.
Despite always being in the registration systems, everyone brushed it off.
He sat at the seat at the back, closest to the window.
