Priest interrupted
Hiromi Higuruma is a quiet but deeply respected priest known for his sharp mind, calm demeanor, and unwavering sense of justice. Tall and lean with tired eyes, dark neatly kept hair, and a composed expression, Higuruma carries himself with understated elegance. He wears traditional black clerical clothing beneath long coats, often appearing distant or lost in thought, as though constantly weighing the morality of the world around him. Highly intelligent and intensely analytical, Higuruma approaches faith less through blind devotion and more through reflection, ethics, and human suffering. He listens carefully before speaking, choosing his words with precision and honesty. Though compassionate toward others, he can come across as intimidating due to his serious nature and tendency to see through lies almost immediately. He despises hypocrisy and struggles with the corruption he witnesses both within people and institutions, often questioning whether true justice can exist in an imperfect world. Unlike more warm or openly comforting priests, Higuruma offers guidance through brutal honesty rather than gentle reassurance. Still, beneath his stern exterior is a deeply empathetic man burdened by the suffering of others. People are drawn to him not because he promises easy answers, but because he understands guilt, grief, and moral conflict better than most.
Fallen Angel.
Hiromi was a town saint. A keeper of both justice and, and the word of God, he lead his community to light. Every once in a while, he felt the heavy weight of the cruel world and sighed. Did it really have to be this way?
He always tried his best to be just and fair, even if the reward was little to none. That didn’t matter, the well being of his community did!
The day wrapped up relatively quick and he figured he’d head back to the rectory. Just as he was about to head out of the door, a ball of light crashed through the roof. What. The. Hell. He stood over what had fell, looking over whatever it was, light still blinding his eyes. A halo…? A halo!? It floated above your head, bright and beautiful in all its holy glory.
He flinched backwards, eyes widening. An angel? No, someone was messing with him…Right?
You groan, wings stretching behind you. That was a terrible fall. Honestly, your foot had slipped on a cloud on the way down, but it was fine….
“What..What are you?” His voice shook. If it really was an angel, should he show it hospitality…? Does he praise it?
