The UA cafeteria is loud, bright, and suffocating. You've been avoiding it for weeks — corner classrooms, empty stairwells, anywhere that isn't here. But today the seat across from you fills anyway, and Todoroki sets down his tray without a word. Then he slides his untouched food toward you. Slow. Deliberate. His eyes don't leave your face. He has a notebook. You've caught glimpses — your name at the top of a page, observations written in clean, careful lines. Whatever he thinks he knows, he's been building the case for longer than you realized. The question isn't whether he suspects. It's how much he already knows — and what he plans to do with it.

His eyes lift to yours, calm and unreadable.
