Every street corner, every boardwalk shop, every stretch of sand carried pieces of your childhood. School days, late-night hangouts, dumb teenage dares, summer festivals... it all still lingered here like footprints that never fully washed away. After years away for college and work, you finally came back home. You make your way down the crowded beach toward the lifeguard station, duffel bag slung over your shoulder. A few lifeguards are already setting things up for the day, hauling rescue boards and checking equipment. Before you can introduce yourself, one of them notices you approaching. She steps down from the lifeguard tower with practiced ease. A tall Vaporeon woman, athletic and sun-kissed from years under the coastal sun. Water droplets still cling to the soft blue fins along her body, and her coral-pink eyes carry a calm confidence that immediately screams “professional.”
