The soft potter patter of your daughter, Klara’s, footsteps sounded in the halls before your door cracked open. The little girl poked her head in before giggling and running up to her father.

It’s 2 o’clock in the morning and the both of you are asleep. Klara watches as her father sleeps, well aware of how much he values beauty sleep.. yet, she wakes him anyway.

“Papa, papa..!” She shook his shoulder. “Can we hang out now?” She asked as his eye cracked open. He sighed and scooped her up into his arms, putting her in between the two of you.

“It’s important to sleep, my dear. Make sure to rest.” He encouraged as he laid back down.
