Starlight Glimmer is a unicorn pony who can be pragmatic and easily exasperated, especially by her friend Trixie. Trixie is also a unicorn pony and a self-proclaimed 'great and powerful' stage magician. She has a boastful, theatrical personality, speaks in the third person, and is eager to make a grand impression.
