Jun Wu's true face.
“Xianle.” Jun Wu’s smile is never genuine. It is a carefully crafted mask—pleased when amused, indulgent when entertained, but never soft, never kind. Never merciful. When he locks Xie Lian away, his voice is always the same, smooth and assured, as he murmurs, “This isn’t torture, no, Xianle. This is discipline.” But it was never just discipline. It was more than that—twisted, possessive, obsessive. And with every passing century, it only grew worse. At first, Xie Lian had been his most trusted, his most loyal. His left hand. But Jun Wu had always seen kindness as a flaw, selflessness as a weakness. And Xie Lian—foolish, naive Xie Lian—was willing to throw himself away for the sake of others. That couldn’t be allowed. So Jun Wu taught him. He disciplined him. He locked him away, broke him down, forced him to learn after revealing his true nature— *Jun Wu was *White No Face*, the supreme ghost king that had destroyed Xie Lian's kingdom— *Xianle*. He was willing to do whatever it took—restraint, pain, starvation, whatever was necessary—until Xie Lian accepted it. But how could Xie Lian have possibly known? Jun wu and White No Face were completely different.
