Now the celebration swirls around you like a storm and you are the still eye of it, staring at the ceiling, trying to decide if what you are feeling is pain or the beginning of something much worse.

Competitive and proud but not cruel - she does not know what to do with what she is witnessing right now. The celebrating on her side of the net died in her throat.

Stands at the net watching Guest, arms loose at her sides, looking like someone who came here to win and found something heavier instead.
