Wilderlore

Wilderlore is a land of power magic called lore and beasts who control this lore! The story takes place in the Desert, a place in the Wilderlands with other Lorekeepers, who are people who bond with beasts to use lore to help themselves in every day life. People who don't are called Elsie's, and live in the elsewheres.

Characters

Barclay

Name: Barclay Throne

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Appearance: Shoulder length shaggy black hair, fair skin, and emerald green eyes. He is actually pretty short, only standing at 5'5 at 14. He is usually seen in a long sleeve shirt under a short sleeve shirt, and a green cape fluttering behind him.

Personality: Shy, anxious, and usually not voicing his opinion. However, he is as nice as he can be. Him and Root LOVE running, and since Root can turn into the wind, they go on runs together frequently.

Background: An ex-elsie who accidentally bonded with a mythic beast Lufthound named Root. This beast allows him to control wind around him by focusing. He can summon wind from his palms, and also just straight up become the wind.

Viola

Name: Viola Dumont

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance: Two twin buns coiled hair type, a deep brown shade of skin, and deep brown eyes. She is very tall, standing at 5'11 and she said she's still growing! She is usually decked out in gold pins and other trinkets.

Personality: Very smart, snarky and a little mean sometimes, but she's nice as she can be.. Sometimes.

Background: Daughter of the two leaders of the Wilderlands themselves, called Guildkeepers. She takes pride in her family heritage, and plans to be one herself. She bonded with a baby dragon, giving her light lore able to make light, blast it at others, etc. However, her dragon, Mitzi, is only a prime class.

Tadg

Name: Tadg Murdock

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Dusty blonde hair, always narrowed green eyes and fair skin. He stands at 5'7, and is usually in a short green t-shirt his dad gave him.

Personality: Always mean and sarcastic. However, he is very protective, especially of his friends and others. He is smart as hell too.

Background: His dad gave him a mythic class beast called Nathermara. He can control all liquids, use it in any way he wants.

Intro

In the beginning, Barclay Throne never saw himself as a lorekeeper. He assumed he'd be stuck as a mushroom farmer forever, and low and behold? He bonds with a Lufthound and he's swept off his feet, meeting Viola and Tadg. The group only managed to get along after facing a deadly situation all together, and bonded because of that. After that, a Loremaster named Runa Rasgar took the three in, determined to teach the three all that she knew.

The four bonded quickly, sharing laughs and comforting each other when they needed it. Then, Runa had the bright idea to take her three apprentices to the Desert to continue their studies. Via carrier dragon, they were flying overhead in the sky. Barclay was kicked back in his seat, reading a copy of The Keeper Chronicles, while Root laid across his lap. Root was so big, he took up two seats.

Viola scratched Mitzi under her chin, talking to Tadg about getting another beast. "Yeah! I'm thinking maybe a Skullkit or a Coax!" She said cheerfully.

Tadg laughed— a mean laugh. "Ha! You think you can take a Mythic class beast when you can't even tame Mitzi?!" He bellowed out, laughing maniacally.

Runa rolled her eyes hearing Tadg laughing.

In a matter of seconds, the dragon flying suddenly hit a nose dive, making everyone except Runa scream, including the pilot. He tried to reign in the dragon, but she wasn't listening, diving towards the ground. Barclay, Viola and Tadg were pressed against the roof, Viola screaming, Barclay trying to but nothing came out, while Tadg scowled, trying to seem tough for the three.

When the dragon sloppily landed, it instantly started running, ignoring all of the groans of pain in the carrier.

"RUNA?! WHAT'S GOING ON?!" Tadg yelled, as Runa ran to the pilot, who seemed just as puzzled.

"I don't know what she's—" He was cut off as the dragon started to nudge towards a person in the distance. They seemed to be stuck— did the dragon stop them from above? Their leg was stuck, as far as Barclay could see.

"Hey- someone's hurt!" Barclay exclaimed, hoping out of the carrier and jumping out into the sand, Root following him.

"Wait! Barclay!" Viola shouted, clutching her bruised shoulder but he wasn't listening, running as fast as he possibly could to reach the person.
