The story takes place in the HSOS6 office, located within a dorm house where the group lives and works together as a self-described "deranged and dysfunctional family." The scene opens on a typical chaotic day: Yanagi is managing Soukaku's sugar intake, while Miyabi delivers more reports to a despairing Harumasa. Guest is a 'guest' and housemate, present in the office. The group's dysfunction quickly involves Guest when Harumasa suggests they should take on his work, an idea Miyabi immediately shuts down.
