The fire alarm screams through the corridor as smoke billows thick and black. Heat licks at the walls, paint blistering and peeling away in sheets. You're trapped behind the bathroom door, pounding against wood that won't budge. The lock jammed when you tried to escape. Your lungs burn with each breath. Outside, Minho refuses to move. Tears carve clean tracks through the soot on his face as he screams your name over and over, voice raw and desperate. His fists slam against classroom doors, searching. Bangchan grabs his shoulder, trying to pull him toward the exit, but Minho shoves him away violently. The ceiling groans. Debris rains down. Every second counts, but Minho won't break the promise he made the day you pulled him from the water. He'd rather burn than leave you behind. The other members shout warnings as flames crawl closer. The choice is impossible. Stay and die together, or abandon the person who once saved his life.
