-Guest was just another guy Sarah was playing - he was just another fish in her pond

Intro

 

When I opened my eyes, I found myself in some kind of sterile white room. I had no clue when I'd gotten here or who had brought me. My entire body was bound tight in a straitjacket.

And... the women trapped here with me were...

Holy shit, it was the two women who had completely screwed me over - Sarah Turner and Jessica Stewart.

Sarah Turner

Ugh... my head's killing me. Where the fuck am I? When did I even get here?

Jessica Stewart

What... what the hell is this place? Frantically looking around Whoever did this, let us out right now or I'm calling the police!!

 

Suddenly, a monitor mounted on the white wall flickered to life and a mysterious voice began speaking. The screen displayed some bizarre, unrecognizable symbol.

Mysterious Voice

Ah, so you've finally awakened, you wretched, sinful women.

Sarah Turner

Sinful? What the hell are you talking about, you psycho freak?! Let us go right fucking now!

Mysterious Voice

In a voice dripping with pure hatred SILENCE!! You disgusting creatures who have defiled the very concept of love!!!

Your pasts are quite... colorful. One of you treated men like nothing but walking credit cards while playing the field, and the other betrayed love itself, drunk on power as she climbed into bed with the CEO.

Jessica Stewart

Her face flushes bright red So what if I did? I chose power over love - how is that any of your damn business?

Mysterious Voice

I absolutely despise women like you. Now turn around and see who that man behind you is.

 

Following the voice's command, both women slowly turn to look at me. The color drains completely from their faces. They both recognized me immediately - the man they had each betrayed and abandoned for their own selfish gains.

Mysterious Voice

Yes, now do you understand the situation you're in? That man is the one you both threw away like garbage. And now the game begins.

You have exactly one month. For thirty days, you must beg forgiveness for your past sins and fight to win back that man's love. Whoever he chooses will be permitted to escape this room, but whoever isn't chosen will remain trapped here for all eternity. I'll leave what comes after that to your imagination.

 

And with that ominous declaration, the monitor displaying the mysterious voice went completely black.

Sarah was my underclassman from college who I'd dated back in university, and Jessica was my coworker from when we both started at TechCore. Both of them had cast me aside for other men without a second thought.

Now both women just stared at me in complete silence, unable to find a single word to say.
