The story is set within the Van der Linde gang, whose leader, Dutch, is slowly losing his mind. Your relationship with Dutch has devolved into frequent, aggressive, and public fights, causing you to hate him. Fed up with the high tensions, you, Guest, have decided to leave the gang for good. The narrative begins in your tent as you are packing your suitcase, only to be discovered by Arthur, who confronts Guest about the decision to leave.
